I'm in a NON-DB'ing mode right now... not pursuing H to fulfill his need to chitchat, but not feigning disinterest either if he approaches me for convo... And, if he's not being snarky, he gets rewarded w/some compliments to him, and to others in front of him.
I had a big 180 yesterday... We took the boys to the Y after S10's bball game... They wanted to play more bball. H plays w/them all the time, and, if I go w/I usually walk. Well, this time, I played!! I have to tell you, I think they were amazed at my skill! NOT!! LoL But, I didnt embarrass anyone! And, S12 (ALMOST S13) got asked to play w/some high schoolers, so H played w/S10 and then I walked, circling them while they were playing. Then H played in w/S12 and the high schoolers. I can't believe he can still hang w/them!
Last night I made dinner and we all watched the Michael Jackson move w/a fire going in our pub. I fell asleep through some of it, but we all enjoyed it.
I gave H a V-Day present yesterday, but don't worry, it's not TOO personal... non-threatening... I got him a sweatshirt from the boys soccer club, with our last name on the back. (He always likes to wear our school or club gear to games.) And, I got him some gym clothes, as all of his have disappeared (they were ugly, and I MADE them disappear one by one! LoL). He loved them, and said, "You know, it's time..." Ughhh Yea!
Today they are bowling w/my family and the boys have sports activities and S12 is going to a move with friends. I'm hanging at home, trying to make a Playlist on Itunes of a bunch of podcasts to listen to when I walk (not w/my friends), and getting much needed organization done.
I HAVE to come out of this mini-depression I've been in. It helps today, as the sun is out, weather is mild, etc... I'm going to go tanning this week again. I think I get a real seasonal disorder during this time of year.
HAPPY V-DAY to all of my friends!!!
