Hmmm that reminds me I have a box of stuff for XH. No way to get it for him unless I dump it at the in laws house. And no motivation to move it....LOL

So you can't bring new things or people into your life unless you make room for them to be there. I am slowly getting there. Just needing to let go of what is holding me back.

I am feeling lighter today somehow. Giving him that bag of clothes, barely made any sort of dent at all in the grand scheme of things. so maybe it just cleared out some emotional space or something like that.

This morning was a bit chaotic. My sweet car told me Saturday that it was time for an oil change. S17 has a late start at school today and I asked if he could possibly take the girls to the bus stop for me so that I could get my oil changed/tires rotated. Was running around like crazy. The girls got up just fine, got them their breakfast, was dressed but had the most difficult time getting s17 moving!!

Got to the appointment just a couple of minutes late and thus was just a couple of minutes late for work. I really need to work on that. Anyway, breaks over.

I'm doing it Friday, too! But I don't work Friday. I have to have them check a noise I don't like, too. I'm a bit afraid it might be the power steering pump.

I get funny noises, but I know what it is, my front suspension. *sigh* I'll take care of that over the summer.

Oh, I know I have front suspension issues! I've been putting that one off a good long time!

That is why I am sooo glad I was able to get a new one. I would have been having loads of problems with my 17 year old car. So far nothing really going on with the 27 year old car that S17 is driving though. My dad is going to have to replace the alternator belts this spring though. It is way too cold now...only in the 20's!

This was kind of funny so I thought I would share. I work at an investment company and I had to call and order some materials from a vendor. I told the guy to have a nice weekend and he said you too. Hope you and your Valentine have a good one! Without even thinking, I said ummm, if I had one but I will hang out with the kids. So he said he would get his wholesaler to keep an eye out for me and send some good guys my way! LOL

I have a couple of these guys that call that haven't been married long and I try to pass along advice here and there that may help them stay on the right path. Nothing like being a big sister figure.
