Rocked - OW will get a piece of wood or fancy certificate to hang on her wall that will collect dust and fade over time. You got a M back and a R with the man you love that has the opportunity to grow stronger over time. I have an office full of awards right now that I am looking at, and I would trade everyone one of them right now for what I really want in life.
Bet OW feesl the same way. This might be a painful reminder to her of what she doesn't have...it would be to me. I was recently nominated for an award and I was praying to God every day that I didn't win, cause I didn't want it...luckily I didn't get it...so if she feels like I did, then this actually sucks for her.
Hold your head high, stay away from the place she gets it and any press clippings over it, and celebrate what you have which is better and more important.
