Thanks. I'm doing fairly well. I'm in a bit of a funk, probably because I'm pretty tired.

Good Morning CHL,

I hope you got some descent rest last night and the funk has lifted before party time today!!!

After all you are in charge of the fire!

Thanks. Got some rest, and am pulling out of the funk some. I think maybe the remnants of this cold and a lack of energy are part of the reason for the funk.

Have to feel better before the party - want to enjoy cooking over the roaring fire! Who's a firebug???

Hi CHL,

Hmmm....who's a firebug. Not sure who that might be. Maybe that guy standing by the fire adding a log and poking it continuously?

Well I hope you kick the cold soon. No fun.

It is being passed around on the bb, but I think you had it first, but I won't tell anyone you started it and gave it to them!

You are too slow this morning, Opt has already been to the party and told Sage she drank all the Mimosa's!!!!

Opt is good with the costumes. Maybe you should have asked her to give you ideas!

I am now Aurora rather than Mother Nature. Much more exotic, plus now I have winged steeds!

What I was suggesting is that when you make comments about your sitch and the way you feel... or the way you interpret David's feelings, he might respond to those and give you an idea of whether you're on track or not. And it's his opportunity to clear up some misconceptions if there are any.

For example, you said the following things in your post:

I think David is still undecided on whether he wants his own thread or not and according to a friend from the bb I did overkill on trying to make it clear to him that I am not pushing him in any direction on that decision.

David - do you feel what Pam is saying is accurate? Do you have anything to add here that further explains the situation from your point of view?

I think more than likely the slowing down of things would be good for David and mines communication. We do a little bit of emails and I have I think, David could say, gotten much better and taking lots of time with them and really trying to be clear when I write.

David - do you agree that slowing down of things like communication between the two of you is good? Do you think that the communcation and interaction has slowed down? Do you feel that the two of you have gotten better at taking time with your thoughts and being clear about them? Is there anything else you'd like to add here to clarify the sitch?

I think even our IM's and phone conversations have slowed the pace down a bit and we both do more thinking before responding. I still have a long ways to go I know. But I am much better at seeing it when I mess up now and apologizing.

David - do you feel that Pam is better at recognizing when she messes up and apologizes for it? Is there anything you want to add here?

She left the party in my hands...silly woman!!

Good Morning CHL,

Sorry you missed the hay ride last night.

Thank you for working on my computer. I don't know if I told you but I really appreciated the time and PATIENCE you took with it yesterday. Sorry it was contrary.

I'm sure you will figure it out though!!!

Hey CHL...how goes the work week...or do you have one of those??? (CJ pretty much works every day too).

Hope you don't mind that some old bb pals of mine joined the party and made a bit of a virtual mess!!! ...It was a BLAST!!!

Take good care

OK, it's a little late, but I'm thinking of a Garth Brooks tune...... think about it..... yup...... "Friends in Low Places"

Maybe Garth in "Much too young (to feel this damn old)".

Maybe David Lee Murphy in "Party Crowd"

Shiny,

I'm not sure when the last time was that I laughed as hard as I did reading the "Party Thread".

I think with everything going on in piecing, that people needed the party. Hats off to psluke and the party crowd.
