Ok doing more thinking. The party tomorrow will be a Fall Harvest Party!

This is the first year since David and I have been married that we have not had a Fall Party at our house. So I think this will be our Fall Party this year!!! And all of our wonderful new bb friends can drop by.

When we had this party at our house I always had the theme Fall and not Halloween. Don't want to offend anyone here, but I am going to post my reason as it is important to me and always was, even though I would have friends say oh you can get this and this and do this, it was all Halloween focused stuff.

Don't know if anyone has ever heard of Mike Warnke or not. He is a Christian comedian and ex high Satanist priest. He can tell stories that will make your hair stand on end. I have seen him twice and met him once.

He did a talk on the radio one time about Halloween. That is their main holiday. He said I'm all for fun and parties, but why give the devil the credit for your fun. That has always stayed with me.

So I'm not saying problem with any costumes! Just that the whole theme won't be ghosts and ghouls!!!

I haven't decided on a costume yet myself. Still debating it.

Hopefully since JJ is SPECIFICALLY invited to drop by he won't lock us down before we finish the party.

Working on planning menu and decorations. What we always did is David made a huge pot of chili and then folks brought other items to pitch in.

Now everyone be sure to bring your lawn chairs and dress warmly as the fire only reaches so far out and of course the evening wraps up with smores!!!
