Hey,

Ever since my very first disastrous thread I have always named my threads with a positive name!!!

That first one was horrible. I read it again the other day.

Ok, I COULD be overly tired tonight as the time change has me up later than normal even if the clock says the same time and dinner was the peanut butter sandwich.

Just not sure on thread title.

I just wondered after I read the post on Cathy's thread.

But I don't know the history there either so you could be right on the money.

You just didn't seem as on as you do sometimes!

I guess I better stop playing on this one and see about starting a new thread before I fill this one up and David has no place to post!

Evening David

Haven't heard from you tonight on here and was hoping that we didn't run you off

Darn Shiny beats me to saying all of the good stuff I WANTED to tell you that you had offered us a lot of incite on how to help Pam Would like to be able to get more incite on you as well but not trying to push the matter All in good time!

Have a great evening!

BTW, CHL I wonder whether someone had warned you about how addictive the BB is. I think they should post a warning somewhere. Will have to ask JJ.

But do not worry too much. It does not seem to be immediately lethal

I'm not too worried about it becoming too addictive, but thanks for the warning.

Hi CHL!

You know, you may not realize it, but just having your few posts here on this thread have given the rest of us some insights on how to help Pam out.

I've noticed a more straightforward, even blunt tone to the posts on HER thread. You have NO idea how many pleas for her to get a GOOD counsellor and get this depression under control have come up these past few days.

Cool. I've been encouraging Pam to turn to the BB for support, and to be very blunt about things. I'm not sure how my posts helped, but am glad they did.

It is also clear to us that at present YOU are just tapped out...she really needs to find alternative sources of support and WORK through her emotions.

I LOVE the analogy that someone (opt? zoo?) used on her thread today when she mentioned that you didn't seem to notice that her emotional meltdowns were fewer...

The poster said something to the effect of...."The guy is buried under a ton of dirt...and you expect him to notice that you've taken a shovelfull off the top????"

We're here for you too, CHL, REGARDLESS of how things turn out for Pam and you.

It's SO helpful to hear about your end of things. I wish you could feel freer to really share.

I DO still think that your own thread would be ideal.

Do you fear that Pam wouldn't be able to resist checking it? There must be some kind of assurance/ deal you can cook up???

((((((((((((((CHL))))))))))))))))))

Shiny

I do feel tapped out. Should I decide to start my own thread, I may go into more detail. I think I would feel better about discussing such things in my own "private" area. I think when Pam's feeling okay, she wouldn't check my thread. When she gets into one of her "frenzied" states, I'm not as sure.

You haven't run me off. (Yet! )

I'm not sure how what I've posted has provided insight, but I'm glad it has. I'm still debating starting my own thread. I don't think I'm quite ready for that yet.
