Today got a text message from W reporting status of her travels which I ignored, and an email asking an errand favor which I took a long time to answer.

When she arrived at her destination she called the house but I was on my cell phone so the machine picked up. She left a message and made a point of addressing it to our kids only, saying that she landed safely. That made me laugh.

I guess me ignoring her attempts at contact are striking a nerve a bit...
