Hi Kara, Aver & Pearl, Thanks so much for your input!! Didn't get a chance to login over the weekend - had some GAL - shopping, met old friends for lunch & over sister's who just moved.
Pearl, I agree that email was too long & rambling. However, usually I have been VERY brief. I don't know what possessed me to write that. I was expecting a curt email from H. But, I have not heard back from him! I checked my spam & nothing. So maybe he's mad, who knows. I was ready to get another "we need to meet" email, but havent'.
I got an email reply from L, and she said OK to file jointly if that's what we've normally done. She said I'll have the opportunity to review before filing, which I absolutely will do. I am going to send H an email, telling him this, and also he needs to send me a copy of 2008's return, which he took a while back.
I also will ask him to verify he's stopped the automatic pymts on the joint cr card, & did he close it. And, that I am going to have 1/2 my pay deposited to joint checking, & he should do the same. That acct. is to be only used for mortgage, bills, house stuff. This is long overdue. Thanks for the smack! I deserve it.
