Someone smack me because I'm overthinking. I am really second guessing pulling away from my wife. I don't know if it's because it's counterintuitive for me or what. I had to do something different.
On a positive note, my wife IM'ed my best friend and told him she was going to call him today. He's my best friend but they are very close too. She hasn't talked to him since last March.
I see I need to get back on here and take care of my boy, T. D money, ask Mach what happens if anyone picks on him. Just sayin.
D, if you feel that you need to step back, follow your gut. Nothing you do or don't do is going to affect her journey. But what you do or don't do can affect yours, ya know?
Well the dance has started. Because of the limited contact my wife is trying to draw me in. I gotta say she is quite creative. Technically she stuck to the rules but I think it was to get info to me that she went to the doctor for a pain in her side.
She texted me: "Can you do me a favor? Call S12 and let him know I'm at the doctor and I'm not sure how long I'm going to be."
Uhhh...she could text me that but she couldn't call him herself.
She texted me later to tell me that they didn't find anything wrong with her.
"Look I AM glad the doctor didn't find anything wrong with you, however, talking with you send me mixed signals, and it is hard for me to move forward in my own life, with the reminder of of what I no longer have."
Something like that.
I am noticing a trend with people not reminding the spouses when boundaries are crossed.
Just sayin.

No I didn't handle it the right way. I allowed my self to get sucked in a little. This is the first real boundary I've set. Thanks for the example. I will be better prepared next time to reinforce the boundary.
