I would do light above and dark below. If you do that, you could do the whole room (leave the ceiling light (like white) though to keep the room from getting too dark) not just one wall.

Start with one wall and see how you like it.

Accent wall should be the whatever one you want. You can pick the one that gets the most light, gets seen the most, or the least.
