You really are trying, and it sounds like your W can see how hard you're trying. I do hope for your sake that she decides it's worth it to give up something of her past behaviors in order to stay married. I think that's one thing that gets in the way a lot of the time - one or both being unwilling to truly see things differently and create a different reality going forward.
