So just hoped on FB and I see one of my guy friends is talking about cooking again and who is commenting on his posts but skank herself. She hinted that he needed to come up from Texas in October maybe for some football games or something else.wink Gag

So I suppose that means the wedding is in October. I have to admit it still hurts. Nothing to be done about it I guess but admit that and then move on. I am better off in some ways and I need to build on that.

Let go of what is not in my control because it isn't my problem anyway.

I know the hardest thing, at least at this moment, is that I am surprised that it still hurts. Not quite like a band aid being yanked off but like falling down and scarping your knee badly. It hurts while you look at it but after you put something on it it is better.

Just don't get where it is coming from.

Was it worse because she was talking to "my" friend?? I don't even want to go into the whole thought process that she may have meant me to see it. I have replied to several of his trying out new stuff posts before. UUUGGGHHH, just won't start down that road.

Otherwise I am doing better today. Thanks for the chat Karen, I really needed to talk that out! Bookclub was nice. We had made it earlier because of the Superbowl. I liked it because I had time at the end of the evening with my kids. Maybe during the school year I can convince them to keep it early?? Cross your fingers. lol
