Seems like depression medications don't work perfectly all the time for everyone. Hopefully some kind of system for skillfully negotiating how to give him space on those days can work out for all.
Hi Rabbit, Good job not getting pulled down into the depressive mood with him. I am working very hard on the detaching continuing even while piecing. I realized I have to... although much harder in piecing. Also - about the schedules, it sounds like you two need to find a balance there. Piecing takes time, attention and priority. We are finding that hard too, but both trying to mimimize extra commitments to focus on this. (((Rabbit)))you are doing great!
Well as the evening went on he gradually came out of his shell, we even had a debate about whether a certain england footie captain should have lost his position due to his recent A.
This morning it was him who pulled me across for our morning cuddle in bed, and he really bear hugged me I wonder if he knew Id given him time, patience and a huge amount of understanding yesterday!
Probably the first time I have seen him so low, well not so much low as quiet and withdrawn, but a huge 180 for me not to badger the life out of him asking why. Just going on as usual supplying maybe a few extra niceties throughout the day.
Fingers crossed that the heating will be sorted when I get home Im sure that will lead to a much pleasanter atmosphere lol!

Congratulations. This sounds great. And heat too. Well, well!
Congratulations on not "badgering him with WHY". I do this too - makes a huge difference to just let him be in his space and you in yours. And I know it is hard. But if you can handle yourself in such close quarters, imagine how well you'll do with a little more space. You did a great job!
Actually, dealing with something similar here - H is in a major funk. Did quite well detaching myself
Well unless he has refunked since I left for work, we are back to normal. Got a friend coming around this evening the first time when H is back at home, so it will be interesting to see how he reactes with my friends.
