MLC diet is working well.
I hope you want to lose weight otherwise this is not a good thing. It could be a sign of depression. Please take care of yourself that should be priority number 1 from now on.

Sounds like other than that you are doing well.

OP - At first it was depression fueling the weight loss. Now it is my choice to keep it up as I needed to lose weight. I feel so much better and look better too. One thing I have realized was that I used food for comfort in dealing with H's depression and anger while he was here. One thing I am sure of is that it is not for H. He married me when I was heavier than I am now, and weight never seemed to be much of a issue for him. At least not that he ever said.

Thats fine.
I lost 25 lbs. on MLC diet, my wife has lost 35 lbs.
We were on atkins for 15 years and only lost a few pounds now this and look how much weight we lost. I did gain some back in the last few days not sure I am happy about that either, but I had gotten to a weight that I didn't want to lose any more either.

Oh yeah, the old MLC diet. I lost about 30 lbs. in a matter of a few months last school year. My diet consisted of diet coke and crackers. Everyone at school would ask what I was doing. lol.

Gotta look out cuz now that I'm happier it's starting to creep back on. Jeans are a little snug. whistle

Losing some excess weight is a benefit, just be sure you don't get run down and sick from not eating.

SoCo- I eat everything, just not much of it. They say that women that have gone through menopause have a difficult time losing weight. This has been the easiest it has ever been. LOL Thanks for the concern, I sure appreciate it.

OP- Just got through reading your threads. I admire how you've handled your sitch. All the best.

Okay that's good. I got to a point where I just didn't bother to eat because I threw everything up anyway b/c of anxiety... not good.

SoCo, that was me, too. I just couldn't keep down what I ate. I lost 20 pounds in the space of a few weeks, pushing me down to what I weighed in jr high! Not good. I have gained a couple back and eat fine now, fortunately.

I have always been 20-30 lbs. heavy but wore it well for 6' 3", except in a bathing suit. I dropped 70 lbs. in 4 months not by choice I would just forget to eat. Now I can't get it to come back, I am more insecure about how I look now than when I was heavier.

Do watch out and take care of yourself, I find that after I exercise, I eat for the right reasons, instead of for comfort or b/c I need to eat to gain weight.

Stress will do that. I hope it has stabilized.

Just remember to eat your veggies and rest as well as you can.

We all need to take care of ourselves. Too much can happen if we don't.
