LOL they are still young and they know dad is a Grinch who still has not bought an X-box 360, PS3, or 46" LCD TV because he is trying to teach them to not be materialistic.
If they only knew how much that was killing dad...

I could not agree with you more. It is just hard to shake the fear that the collective wisdom of the board is wrong and that I know better what to do in this situation (and yes I do see the irony that if I was so darn smart I would not be in this situation in the first place.)
Entirely your choice, Ozzy. I think you'll find that we are gentlemen and ladies here; we don't really force ourselves or our advice on anyone who doesn't want it.
Yeah. You're nowhere near the "Be the knight in shining armor" stage, and you're not listening to anything anyone's been telling you.
You rescued her, rather than learn to see what it's like to miss you and live without you.
OPPORTUNITY LOST.

Puppy,
From reading your responses to others, I knew you would say something like that :-) I went looking for your thread and did not see it. How long did it take you to save your marriage?

Truth be told, I haven't got any of those controllers, but I got them an awesome computer...and the TV, we decided on a 20" and no cable, so don't feel to grinch like!
The PS3 is on it's way, though, I guess I'm caving in!

Ozymandias, there is a point in here to try. Be a knight. A knight is sought after, controlled, and inside, is a soft warm (although unclean...skip that part) man.

Busted her affair in under three months. Divorce was on and off the table for about a year and a half, and then MCing which is where we are now.
You can find my story here; I used to be known as Chocolateeyes:

Mountain, I am LMAO. Thanks I needed that.
Pup,
Thank you for the link. I now have a lot of reading to do.

I was LMAO too, then I took a shower just in case I was too knightly last night~
Amazing how rough language can come up anywhere...!
I'm not sure if anyone's asked you or I have, or you've said it, but was your wife's affair physical? Also, have you met or do you know this guy?
Using the yet more med language, a virus can't be killed without the body knowing what the virus looks like, adapting to meet it, and then comes the swallowing it whole and **** it out. Don't become the pursuer, but if you know more in a calm way, maybe it might help (disclaimer, I've never been in your shoes!)
