I forwarded Dan the trial scheduling notice I got and included a few details about options.
He replied back that he would get the papers from the lawyer and get them back to me....so apparently somewhere along the line he did get a lawyer?
So it appears he will comply an avoid the need for a trial. I should be glad that the end is in sight but I am just disappointed. Guess you were right, John. A part of me was hoping there would be a last-second "Hail Mary" and he would ask me not to follow through...
But it is better to be released from someone who does not want to be with me, ultimately there will be a man who will...and until then I can take care of me and enjoy my kids. Just have to remember that...
