I am just still in shock, honestly, about the email from my atty...I didn't know they could schedule a trial conference without talking to me first. Just took me by surprise.
Oh and also my uncle (mom's brother) who has been battling cancer for almost two years is back in the hospital. He is one of the two siblings we had the benefit for back in August. He has infection in his blood, fever, dehydration, scans show new spots in a couple of different areas, etc. Can't do chemo because he is sick.
They asked him yesterday 'how he wanted this to end'. He said, 'I want to win'. That does not appear to be an option. And it isn't what they meant when they asked him, they meant let go and ride it out or fight till he is out of time...
