Jeff-I have a few ideas.... smile

OK back to reality...

So I had my front brakes redone Tuesday. They were squeaking, so I got them fixed. Then, not long after (in BBJ time, maybe it was long after) blush I heard squeaking again. I thought, "Surely not! I just had them fixed? Must be that car behind me..." smirk

Lo and behold they stopped squeaking...apparently that is a bad thing! smile So I got the pads and rotors replaced at the dealership where my dad works. Got employee pricing so it wasn't too bad...

Then last night Dan brought the kids back from being at his parent's (it was his night). He asked if he could come down and look at the tile he bought. I said fine. He came down and there was water on the laundry floor...the hot water heater is broken! Granted it was 23 years old...

So he went into hubby mode and got towels, dried it up, turned off the hot water supply etc. I told him he could go, I would handle it. I told him I would buy a water heater tonight after work.

So, at 10 am I get a text--he went and bought a water heater and is bringing it over and dropping it off later. Wtf? I told him I would take care of it...so I will write him a check for it, I don't want pity purchases. I also called and hired a plumber to come install it so that is taken care of. Sigh...

Oh and biggest surprise to me...

I got an email from my atty today. Apparently the case proceeds here regardless? We hit the certain number of days I guess so my atty went and filed for a "Trial Scheduling Conference". In 3 weeks my atty and Dan will have a phone conference to set a trial date unless Dan signs the papers before then...
