Exactly, S.T. We don't wind up in Depression because our bodies or brains are deficient in Zoloft, Prozac, Lexapro, or any other synthetic pharmaceutical that do not occur naturally in the human body. We are deficient in certain brain (i.e., neurotransmitter) "food".

AMEN to this, S.T. Mindfull, explore meditating. Or failing that, simply find (make) 10 minutes of quiet and close your eyes, giving your senses of sight and hearing a break from the constant, never-ending barrage of input. There's so much more you could do but these simple basics are refreshing, re-energizing, and are the beginning - the building blocks - from which all the myriad forms of meditation begin.

Give yourself the daily gift of silence, darkness, time, and just being.

I heard about these mushrooms that can really change your attitude, see everything in a different light, and.....

Aaaah!! Just kidding. I do agree that natural is much prefered, if it takes care of the problem.

For me, just to sit back, close my eyes or a few minutes, makes a difference.

Pearl:

I actually go back to the Naturopath tomorrow. I'll ask her!

Those are good drunk stories! LMAO I like the one about sneaking the bottles, and thinking no one else knew. Hahaha I can relate!

I have a few. I'll have to decide which ones are worthy of print! Ha!

Do I tell the college ones (that I remember) or the New Orleans one (not SO long ago)....?

You cheer me up!

Coach -

I had a really bad visual after reading that post!

I need to tell you something way funny... H actually sleeps w/his eyes cracked open a bit. I "could" just slip some in while he's sleeping, then force them closed so they'd stay in!

And, I'm not sure the drops are all that interesting if they only make you LOOK hard! Yikes!

But, that's NOT the story!

To cheer you up?

A man and his wife went to the chemist to pick up his prescription for Viagra. Seeing the $10 per pill price, the man was astonished - but his wife had a different opinion - "Oh, $40 a year ain't too bad".
