Well, finally chiming in to this great thread.

Today I began 180ing when I thought, "why am I always wondering when my sitch is going to stop making my mind stay negative so much as in, 'When will this finally go away?'" (Passive)

Instead, I started countering every (well, most) negative automatic thought with its positive polar opposite. (Active).

I've been "waiting" for this to "go away" for so long. Today I started - ever so slightly - chasing it away. Begone!

Wish me luck, here. I'm attempting to buck what has become this year a deeply ingrained habit!
