Definitely the truth!

I still take Ambien sometimes but I have been switching to Melatonin. It works, just not quite as well. grin

Valerian root? I've seen that but didn't know what it was for. I'll have to check that out for my aching workout muscles! Kava kava.....definitely getting that. smile

Hope your cough is getting better kat. Do you have congestion in your chest?

S17 was kind of funny this morning when I told him I had to get those done. He asked why don't I get Dad to go to some and I said well I am trying to be a good mom and get to all of them. He said you are a great Mom but you aren't God. It is ok to ask for help. From the mouthes of babes...

I have to agree with you there Yoyo. smile

My sinuses are starting to drain, which is good and bad. The first round of this crud my chest did hurt and the mucinex worked really well. Now I want the gunk out of my head so I want it to drain but it is such a pain. Better to have a sore nose than a sick tummy from all of it.

When is it Spring again? Oh, wait then I have allergies. Doh!

Haha. There's no way to win sometimes.

You know what is proven to help allergies? Local honey. It has to be local because you have to ingest the pollen you are being exposed to. And it doesn't work right away, you will notice the biggest difference the following allergy season. But, it does work! I use local honey as a sweetener a lot of the time instead of sugar (another bonus, you need so much less sweetener cuz honey is soooo sweet) and my allergies have gotten so much better. And I live in the valley where people who didn't have allergies before they moved here develop allergies!

Well the "wise and sweet young man" just made me think it wasn't him! lol My former father in law is no where near that discription. He is a bit of a perv in my mind.

My son on the other hand, though having some of his dad's traits, is a pretty good kid. now if I could just get him to cut his hair!! LOL

Ex and I went to the girls parent teacher conferences last night. At one point ex was coughing kind of hard and I dug out a cough drop. Our girls are doing great. D11 is boy crazed and D9 is brilliant. What a combination.

We stopped by the book fair as we have in the past. found the books the girls wanted and went to check out. Ex saw a poster of Kirk Hinrich and teased me about my needing that. I caved and bought it. We actually split the purchase(unlike last time when I bought it all)pretty much right down the line.

We talked about KU and how we are both sick at the same time, though his seems worse. Talked about the boys and their plans for next year. S17 wants to graduate at semester and work to save money for college. He already has enough credits to be a senior and only needs four classes next year to graduate. I didn't go to the high school as I was feeling pretty drained. S17 had straight A's so I wasn't terribly concearned but I did feel a tad guilty.

Maybe things have settled between ex and I. Who knows???

It started snowing overnight and it is lovely. Not so fun to drive in, pretty slick but I am trying to take in how nice it looks.

I am sure it will happen. Just have to find something that click I guess. D11 calls me all pitiful from home just to tell me that she loves me and misses me and to ask when will I be home. She is so sweet.

Seems like all sorts of little issues have cropped up today and am going just a tad crazy trying to fix them alone since boss man is at a conference today.

Don't go to crazy, you can handle it. You have handled yourself well so far.

It is sweet that D11 wants you home. D13 told me, her mom and my mom she wants to move in with me. If only my schedule would work to keep her more often.

Don't worry about the little issues, like I said you can handle it. Show the boss man what you are made of.

Take care
