that is so cool that this old friend has contacted you. She could probably really use a friend and I'm sure she misses having you as her friend. What a great opportunity for both of you.
yes, we all sometimes need to walk in someone elses shoes, and once we do, we probably would ask for ours back. My pastor and his wife have 4 children, and they were pregnant, due any moment, and the day she was to deliver, was the day the baby died. It was such a sad moment. I could not imagine. They even have beautiful pictures of the baby with the family, and she has the baby's footprints tatoo'd on her foot. I could not imagine losing a child either way.
