RB and I went, my old college roommate drove up from San Diego and we all had a blast. Went to both Disneyland and California Adventure. Walked ridiculous amounts (wish I'd thought to bring a pedometer! LOL) spent too much money on food and souvenirs. Did NOT want to come to work this AM lol.
I hadn't been to Disneyland probably in about 15 years. So, there was new stuff I hadn't seen, and a lot I didn't remember. Indiana Jones is SO cool! Did all the usual big rides. Got my driver's license at Autopia.
We also had good luck with the lines. I think the longest we waited for anything was about 35 min. A few times we just walked right on. Most of the time the queue was about 10-20 min. Which gave all of time to chat and enjoy looking around. We did Indiana Jones a few times, and I swear every time I walked in there I saw something I had missed before - the detail they put into the waiting area of that ride is just amazing!
Oh, and seeing Pirates with the remodel was quite cool - it's so neat that they put Johnny Depp in there!

Since I was there more over the weekend, I doubt there were any major celebs there. They probably would get mobbed.
They did do an amazing job with the likeness (I am SO looking forward to Alice in Wonderland, mostly cuz he's in it!)! Glad you had a great time as well!

So how are things at your house going? My parents bought me a picture of Orlando Bloom so I can drool over him in the privacy of my own home. Perhaps there is a Johnny Depp likeness that you could get and do the same??

I went by on Monday night to check the mail and take a few small things over. I will do the same tomorrow night. Then Friday I will be up there with appointments - getting the locks changed (hopefully, still waiting on appointment confirmation), getting an estimate on replacing the living room window.
The lawn needs to be mowed desperately too. But I have no mower lol.
Plan is to move Feb 13th. Still packing this week. Might need to get some more boxes. Apparently I have accumulated more stuff in the last 2 1/2 yrs. When I moved in, I had enough boxes! LOL
Also making big piles for Goodwill and the library!

Good job Michelle! You have everything in good order. Why am I not surprised? LOL!
Boxes? You can go to the supermarket and talk to the grocery manager. If they are extra nice and willing to bend company policy that generally requires recycling of corrugated boxes, you might be able to get them to give you empties. Banana boxes are great

Yeah, I used to get boxes from businesses, but now they all have compactors and trying to get ahold of them is such a pain. I bought boxes when I put most of my stuff in storage when I lived with my parents for a month after the bomb, and I used those again when I moved, then broke them down and saved them for moving again. I may just go buy another pack of 10 small boxes since I have lots of books lol.
It's pretty easy to stay organized when you only have to worry about one person - yourself! Plus I keep a planner, I don't know what I'd do without it! My to do list keeps me from forgetting too much lol. Need to get utilities in my name this week. Maybe at lunch today...
Goldey - what's your size?
