RW-since this is my second go round with H leaving me, I will tell you that it took me several years to not hate the months of FEB, MAR and APR cause that is when H left and every year when we got to that time of year, that is all I would think about! So now, I am going to hate Aug-??? for a long time!!! Or...maybe I won't since I am DBing this time around!!! :-)

I have a question on how to handle something. He mentioned the other day when he was here that he supposed he would have to make an appt. to get a haircut? I have cut his hair since we have been together. Do I offer to do it? Do I wait until he ask me for one? Do I charge him? Do I do it at home as I would normally ot do I make him come into the shop? I don't KNOW what to do! Ridiculous! This shouldn't be as hard as trying to figure out a relationship!!!

CW, do NOT cut his hair for him! Why would you do something like that for someone who is cheating on you? It was a nice, wifely thing you did for him. He is not respecting you as his wife. I suppose if he wanted to come to your shop and pay for it that is up to you, but personally I would choose not to do that either. YOu need to get firmer with boundaries my dear!
See...I would have probably done it, for free at his convenience! Thanks for your input RW! I am thinking that the "flirting" that he did the other day threw me off! I was totally ready to call the lawyer after him bringing OW to the house! Yes, she just sat in the truck, but my home is the one place where I still feel secure and comfortable and safe. She has my H, she has sat in/driven my Dad's truck and now she has violated my town and my home (even though she didn't get out of the truck, she still knows where we live). Amazing how a stupid kiss can totally throw you off!!!

Well, I knew that my positive outlook this week would somehow get spoiled...I am trying to not panic! Today is payday and checked the online banking and only about half of H's check has been deposited. After the house payment, that leaves about $200 and car ins is due. I am really hoping that some clerical error has been made...I have called and left a message on H's phone and no return call yet.

Would I be right in thinking that it goes direct from H's work to the account and not H puts in money from his other account..
Right breathe, believe me that would send me into a right tailspin when that happens, these blooming payroll folks just dont seem to care what their "oh never mind its wrong" attitude does to a family who are skint! Youd think with us all a bit more on the breadline due to this recession theyd take more care..
Im having trouble with our HR who cant seem to understand the contract they wrote and agreed too when it comes to our salaries, we get the basics just not the extras..
Well hopefully by the time you read this you will have calmed down and got a sensible reply from them or H.

Thanks LR-yes, H finally called. He is having part of his check put into our joint acct and the rest into his acct. It had been direct deposit. He says he has to pay rent. I reminded him that when we talked a couple of weeks ago about how he would pay his rent that he said he had his stash! He tells so many lies that apparently he cannot remember what he has said! I also reminded him that I had given him a list of our debts and our income and that there was NO EXTRA money for him to live on especially now since out renters are moving out. He is going to come over tomorrow and we are going to sit down and talk about it. We both kept our calm. I will see what we come up with tomorrow but my have to go ahead a talk to a L as I am pretty sure that I can get more from child support than what he left in our acct.
I will have the list ready to go over for tomorrow. How am I going to know what to believe from him???

Oh hun been there on that one, my H was paying probably a large amount of rent else where, because he has his own business he was able to keep money aside from our joint account.. well eventually we had to get into a pickle and now were in one big time, he contracts and still has no work.. if I had gone and got myself a job when I did we would have no money at all at the moment.. When H was in the fog his attitude was what do you expect me to do about it.. Personally I be looking for renters el pronto and make sure that money goes into you account as a back up plan. Huge hugs because I really know how it feels to suddenly have little control over what you used to consider OUR money!
