AAAAAHHHH!!! No computer at all yesterday. And my brother accidentally reformatted the other hard drive where all the backups were kept! Lost all my data!

Some good things yesterday:
1. H came home around 6 pm and we swam in the pool (still no contact with my sibs, but at least he was home early).
2. He actually defended my brother when I told him about my dead drive.

Of course I messed up by opening my big mouth and talking to him about his office finances and even asking him why did he not want me involved (ASSumptions, of course). It has been 2 months and he still has not set up an appointment with the CPA. I changed topics as soon as I could and we swam some more but I should shut up.

Hi Opt,

Swimming and home early sounds good!

Real sorry about your drive. I had one die one time and lost some data but managed to save most of it thank goodness, well David saved it!!

Hey I beat my 1 minute mark!!!

I forgot no 3: I took my sibs to a day spa for a massage and called H from there to ask if he wanted to have one. He said 'not this week' so I booked us for a couples massage next Friday. I told H when he got home and he said 'I'll be at work but I can get out early so that we can go'

And he was wearing his ring when he came home

Well, ODGA said focus on the positives...

Hi Opt,
With your sibs visiting, your H is definately stressing out and is once again over sensitized about the bad parts of what happened to M. During your sib's stay, I would drop bringing up any talk about the office. It would be too easy for him to associate you bring up the subject as piling more on him right now. Focus on making him feel more comfortable in what he deems unfriendly territory. A swim in the pool was a good start, keep to safe topic for chit chat ... maybe even intitiate some water games. You want him to think that even tho sibs are there, he still enjoy the time he's there too.

'til later,
KAW

Hi Opt. Sounds like fun swimming! It is about 35 degrees out here so I am in the skating mode instead.

One thought. While your sibs are still here and things are rather precarious, you might want to avoid other hot issues with your H. They might send him back stepping even more and certainly won't get you closer to your goals! (Boy do I sound like I know what I am doing or what? )

Have to run and pick up S5 at bus stop. Have a great day!

I know it was a bad, and stupid, move. I backpedaled as quick as I could, also. But I messed up. I'll never learn .

Will see how today goes: we do have the massage and the Shania Twain thing to look forward to. Though that is next week.

But D is sick and we have not slept (we had not slept much either the night before but for quite another reason ). And I called him a while ago (strictly a bussiness question) and OW answered the phone, which made me go down (I should not be that stupid ).

Anyway, I hope he comes home early today and we can do something. I work this weekend and will have little time to do stuff together .

How can people actually pay to ride on rollercoasters is something I cannot fathom. I'd pay to get off this one!

Pam, can you please send me some of that extra coffee your work seems so well supplied with? Nobody made coffee here today!

How do you get through the day with NO COFFEE????????

I have really been trying to be more careful with it though, I have done this before and know it does that too me.

Hope you have a nice evening!

So Pam, is this your trick on how you can keep up with everyone here? Up to now, I'd still hadn't figured out how you do it?!
