So jealous! I love to go to karaoke; not to sing but to watch. Alas, none of my local friends share this particular affinity so it's a rare treat for me. I did get to indulge at the one and only holiday party I attended, it was a thank you for the volunteers for the local film festival. The dj was almost more entertaining than the singers as he was decked out 80's hair band-style and was telling the single ladies to bring him home with them.
Cutter, I love a man who has good shoes! Reminds me of the time BF and I got him a pair from the Coach outlet. I told him that the women in the office would notice and he scoffed. Sure enough, the first day he wore them the president's exec asst complimented the shoes. And that was the first step in converting him from Why would I spend more than $40 on a pair of shoes? to I'm willing to pay for a pair of quality, stylish shoes because they will last longer and help me look like a grown up.
