You got that right! This is a good first step. Lets try and keep it so you don't backslide. I feel like Drew and I are pushing you up a hill but you are fighting to slide back down. The vision I have in my mind is funny! What I lack in height and body weight I make up with my mouth (as you can see!)
How about making a list of things you can do each day to detach in a healthy way instead of just distancing?
It is thundering quite loud. I better check the radar to make sure there isn't any tornadic activity. This is Dallas.

The advice I am looking for is how to move towards a reconciliation, not walk away and say she isn't worth it.

What you don't understand is the advice you are receiving IS your best chance at reconcilation. As counter-intuitive as it seems to you.
Is this genuinely too complicated for you K4? This oversimplifying poop that you do, over and over again, is a big part of your problem. You need help k4. Help to change you. What is it that you don't "get" about this? What Drew said was SO on point and his scriptural references were spot on. You said nothing about that post. Let me ask you again, What is it, that you don't "get" that makes you think you must choose one extreme or the other? What is it, about advice for you to work on you, that frightens you so much? j-

I had to shorten my resume and add action/power words. It was 3 pages and to much info. I narrowed it down to 2 pages and gave it better wordage. I was also told to take off my address as it is not needed on a resume. I was told to just put the year I worked somewhere, not the actual months and years. I was told to use up as much white space as I could to get my resume down as much as possible.
Also, just a warning for anyone who has a resume out there. I got an email from a company in russia yesterday wanting to know if I was interested in being a finance manager and transferring funds using a US tax id for sales here in the country. It said they pay 3k to 5k a month for 3 hours of work a week. I did a google search on the company name and scam because it sounded to good to be true.
Turns out it is run by criminals in russia who took over a company website and they are involved in money laundering. I figured something was up. So I obviously said no and went in and took my address off of my resume. They found my resume on yahoo hot jobs. So just be aware of that if you have resumes out there. I was stunned.

Sometimes I just want to put you in my pocket and keep you safe. There are tons of scams like that and they have been around forever. For some reason many of them originate in Russia and Africa. Every hear of the African wire transfer scheme?
What is it, about advice for you to work on you, that frightens you so much?
Because it's hard.
Because it requires work.
I think your right, but its also unchartered territory. I speak from experience.
