Oh, maybe time to let all of those creative forces flow...or not. S14 actually put together the lawn mower(battery operated one) by himself. He didn't want anyone to help. Read the directions and everything. I am sure the Testosterone will kick in hard in the next year or so and he will be throwing those directions to the wind like most men I know. LOL

Now I have to think about colors.

I read directions... but, I admit, don't ask for them.

Hope things are going well.

I had an interesting conversation with a client yesterday. His daughter is going through a divorce. Like my Dad, he was very much in the "Get it over with" mode. I did tell him that it wasn't as easy as all that. She would need to come to that realization in her own time.

Also commented on how my Dad sometimes tries to motivate me by making me mad and yes sometimes hurting my feelings. He had told me if I hadn't let myself go, Ex might not have left. Yes I know, hurtful. Since I got married I have gained 50 pounds. I know that is awful but 20 of it came from when the affair started. Anyway I said something to the client that my Dad said that and he asked if I had always been overweight. Nope, I used to be called sticks in school because I was so skinny. Anyway, I think that may have been my wake up call having someone neutral think I was too heavy for my build. No point being upset, just need to start making some changes.

They say you do better when you write it down and tell someone, so here you are.

So Mr Fix It came to look at the freezer today. Apparently there was something obstructing the fan and he was able to clear that out. I don't know if he checked anything else but I suppose that is all good for the time being.

My Dad is on his fix it plan like I mentioned and bought a 25 ft snake for the drain. Now I will need to clean the basement or I will get to hear the tirade in that. I actually had it looking okay until the kids decided that it was going to be a band room, no a bedroom, no it is too scary...we will just play down here, mess. Any paint plans are on hold.

I won't start to tackle it tonight as I am going to indulge in a massage. I am stressed! Oh and remember she is psychic too, so may get some insight thrown in. smile

I agree. Since I don't get my hair "done" ie. cut on a regular basis or even have my nails done, I figure I can do this for me every once and a while. smile Now I am wishing I had asked for a hot stone massage but she is having a special on a regular one so I suppose that will be just dandy. smile
