Thanks for the book recommendation, I will have to check it out. I would not use 3rd party anyway, but the rest of the counselors advice was solid in my opinion.
Last night I was so good, went to bed at 9:30 to get ready for boot camp this morning.
Then Dan started texting. He hasn't done that in a long time.
20 Yes TWENTY texts in a row. Basically a letter in text form. Man he is so miserable....his world is crashing down around him from all sides but he is the only one who can save himself.
It sucks but at the same time it makes it pretty clear that this is not about me at all even when he tries to make it about me.
Also for those who think the walk-away gets to 'win' by going on to live a happy wonderful life, don't bet on it. They have to live with their life choices and even if they don't admit it I am sure that eats most of them up on some level.
I know I did all I could within my power, made mistakes but hey I learned from them which is more than he can say...
OK two hour late start for snow/wind so I am going back to bed!
And I lost 1 inch last week, not much but it is a start. No weight loss yet but apparenlty I was not eating enough?? Go figure

Are you excercising? 1 inch is a good start. If you lose an inch a week, you will be right where you want to in no time at all.

Yep I started a boot camp program last week, 3 mornings of butt-kicking workouts a week for 6 weeks along with nutrition guidance.
Went to the store after the weigh/measure session last night. Bought some egg beaters, pouches of tuna, strawberries, all on the list of 'good' foods. Need a lot more protein apparently.
Loved the 2 hr late start this morning, counts as a school day but short!
OK need to go do some work. Another counseling appt tomorrow, looking forward to it!
You seem positive about things BobbyJo. That is great to see. I hope you lose the weight you want to in this bootcamp.

Think about it this way, if you continue, in four weeks you will have lost four inches.
I don't know how many inches you want to lose, but take it a week at a time. One inch is awesome!!!!!!!

BBJ... my STBXH is miserable too. It's always for some other reason and when thsat situation gets better he finds another one to stress about. His life is falling apart... so glad it is not mine. You should be too! yeah for the late start.
