Had a great time tonight! Have live in this area for 10 yrs and have never gotten involved in anything around here! There was a big fire in one of the towns I work in and they had a benefit tonight for the businesses! My boss was trying to fix me up with guys! A former co-worker said she hardly recognized me!

My bro changed our locks and plan to tell H when/if comes tomorrow that I changed them because of my discomfort of OW having been at our house and more than likely having access to H's keys!

A friend of H's wife is now one of my Facebook friends! She sent me a message today saying that she just heard that H was living in their town, where H works and offering support. She is also a cancer survivor (we have the bond!) H has apparently not given the "true" reason as to why he is not living at home (or, her H has not disclosed it to her if he knows). Not sure if I should gain hope for this or not!

I also saw my neighbor lady tonight, who has also been thu the breast cancer, and she told me to stop by her house some time! She has never done that so I know that they have realized that the truck H drives has not been around and possibly that her H has seen the OW in the truck with H. Like I said, I live in a very small town!!!

I am still very upset that he brought OW to our house! Anyway, good times tonight! Nice to see a town pull together like that and have to take comfort in the fact that I have many people out there for support if I need them!

Brilliant news CW get out there and have fun you can be sure that stuff will get back to H it always does, my H was two hundered miles away but he still found out things via my S and ironically my parents.

Interesting that H is still doing a cover up job about why he is not with you, hedging his bets maybe but most likely embarrassed at his behaviour, would be interesting if MrsH'friendswife tells her husband the truth and he gives your H earache about his behaviour lol!

Hi LR! I did not tell Mr H's firends wife the true reason H is gone! I am still waiting for HIM to have to tell someone. I had a great time last night! Today has been very intersting. H got here pretty early at 9:30 so I wasn't quite ready for him! Anyway, he asked about splitting some wood as the sun was finally out for the first time in days. Kids were disappointed as they had hoped to do something fun with H. He noticed the new lock on the door and asked me if I was trying to keep him out. I said no, but I am uncomfortable know that OW was here. He got very mad and defensive and walked away in the middle of my "speech". He then came in and started grabbing his guns and taking them out to the truck (before they disappeared he said). I stopped him right there and said "I am not like your xw (she took him bad in their D). I am not going to do anything with your guns. Your stuff is safe here. They are probably safer here than in the house you are in right now (he agreed). I said YOU are the one that has violated the trust...not me. I also said (maybe should not have) that I was still hoping that he would come home one of these days so I was not locking him out. I told him he can come anytime to get stuff if he needs it to just call and I would make sure he could get in. He did calm down after that and left the rest of the guns here.

So, we did get some wood split. I had planned to go to church but stayed and helped (I probably should have went anyway). He was showing me how to get a fire going in case it went out and stressed again that I should call if I had any issues. On the way up the stairs, he poked me in the rear so I said "excuse me" and when we got to the top he kissed me. I asked what that was for and he said, well I guess I don't have to so then I kinda slapped his arm and he said what what that for and I said because I HAVE to.

I know I know...don't get too excited. This is the first time he has done this. There is a little more but I need to get ready to go to a movie with my friend!!!

oooh a crack in the armour lol! Well handled CW very well handled, nicely pointed things out and also gave him security in what you were doing! Love the cheeky kiss and the retort back of I have too.. I certainly found with H that instigating the fun back in things got his attention, ok I wasnt competing with AOW but I was competing with his doom, gloom and fog! Just take it slowly this may not happen again for ages or he may start a bit of cake eating, I let it go for a few weeks then did the cake eating speech, about how I wanted this to continue but for my own saniety and well being I couldnt allow this to continue if H was just taken me for granted! I can see your grin from the UK chick keep it up!

LR, how did you compete with doom, gloom and fog? It seems difficult when they resist positive outlook and positive activities and choose to wallow instead.

By being bright, happy, sexy, fun, sassy rabbit. Making it more attractive to spend time with me than doom gloom and fog, eventually Mr Rabbit began to see his fog was depression and got some help, point out the depression was a no go but pointing out that he was worth it and it was important to look after himself was ok, especially as he felt he had neglected himself for years and although wasnt going MLC crazy changing things wanted too! So I just fed the need.

Is it a good thing when we really don't have anything to say on here? :-) Been keeping busy. Yesterday had an appt and meeting at the school and then on home for dinner and search for S14's retainer...found it! Off to bed to read some more "Why Men Love Bitches" I did have to call H to tell him that I had driven by our rental house and that there was a trailer outside so it is looking like they are going to stiff us January's rent since they have not paid it yet! That's ok really...time for them to go!!! Will be tough on the budget but we will make it through! In the past, something like this would have kept me up at night...now, it is like, well, what are you gonna do...we will find a new renter and make sure this next one pays a deposit before they move in!!!

Well, off to work!

Hey CW,

Glad you are reading that book! We "nice girls" need a kick in the butt sometimes! lol wink

Yes, it is a good thing when there isn't much to post. No new crisis means you can put your energy into maintaining your DB strategies.

Good job on not getting anxious about the rental. that is a good sign that you are making good progress in managing your emotions and that will help you in your sitch.
