DB success? I wouldn't be that presumptuous - afterall, if nothing else, many of us here, LBS, WAS, whatever, have learnt at least one thing, and that is never to take things for granted. Lots of ups and downs and challenges to come (expectedly), but for W and myself to have found ourselves and our M as it is now, is a blessing I can only ascribe to the mercy of God.
Congratulations on the baby! You're right not to be presumptious, but hopeful and working towards being the best spouses you can be for each other is a great idea. Hopefully, the new flood of emotions with the baby will help your W make a deeper connection and committment to you and your kids - one that can last throught the enevitable upheavals that will arise when the baby starts to pee on the carpet!
