it may be different in diff states, but I called on it myself. I just talked to the bank and they said that I would only qualify if I were in default. ya, scared me too, I've NEVER been late.

so, don't go thru an atty, call your bank and ask them what you would need to do, and keep talking to diff people until you find someone that knows what to do, or knows something about it.
