(((((BobbiJo))))) I'm sorry! Though I would like to know how I gave you my cold... I don't remember doing anything to cause such an occurance! But, I hope you feel better soon!
There was a tornado in Sunset Beach, CA (about 10 miles from where I lived) yesterday. It's rare, but it happens. They usually start as water spouts and come ashore. I hope you didn't get anything too awful last night Jeff.
Ha! I just turned my furnace off for the first time since November. I'm hoping our temps stay at this level so I don't have to turn it back on. Doubtful though. We tend to get a cold snap about every 2 weeks.

The wind laid down about 1, I think, and it rained steadily, but not torrentialy, all night. According to the NWS, about an inch over night. Which is really good. It sounds like it will be a bit icky through Saturday, if it is it would be nice to get some more rain out of it!
This is our cold snap, it's only going to be in the 50's the next few days. If the sun shows up, the house will stay warm, if not.....
We haven't seen 40 degrees since November, practically!I keep my furnace set at 67* otherwise it would run all the time. Got a space heater to warm up whatever room we are in.
Tornadic weather can be exciting, Jeff! Lots of lightning/thunder, some hail, very entertaining, if you like that kind of thing!
Although rain and storms = no golf so that isn't fun for you...
I SO don't like the toradic weather. Give me a good old earthquake anyday. Boom....it's over and clean up begins. Tornadoes, hurricanes....blech! They warn you for days and you stay on edge and nervous!!!! Hate it!
