I think Charlotte the cat likes having me here all the time. She spends most of the day snuggled up next to my legs, occasionally wandering off to do cat things, like sitting in the window while the sun is out. But in general, when I move, I wake her up!

I haven't heard from the woman I went out with last weekend since Saturday, I would like to feel a tiny bit or pursuit, and it's not there. Fortunately, it really isn't bothering me.

Time for more drink!

Yes, using time off to be sick is horrible.

That's not a bad way to spend the day. Wish I wasn't allergic to cats sometimes.

She is a sweetie. Getting older, less active. One day, I will miss her. The kids saw a sign for free kittens. I said I can't get a cat while I have Charlotte, I think it would stress her out, at this point. And I have noticed that more than a few interesting women are allergic to cats...

Jeff...hope you are feeling a little (or a lot!) better!

My favorite tea when I have a cold is from Aveda...as in, the salon people! Sounds weird, but it is awesome! It is a licorice root tea. Trust me, I hate licorice, but I love this tea! To be honest it is the main reason I always went to Aveda salons to get my hair done, once I had it. They serve it to you while you are getting your hair done. But you can buy it by the box at most aveda salons, too...

Don't know if the link will work or not... I miss cuddling my cats. They have been gone almost six years, but I still miss it! Too bad Nathan is so allergic.

Sorry you're so sick Jeff. I hope you are starting to feel better. At least Miss Charlotte is cuddling with you some. Animals are so great for that. My dog cuddles with me when I'm sick, he goes into extreme cuddle mode actually and I get uncomfortable because I don't want to move him. smile

Feel better buddy!

What you need is some old-fashioned Chicken Soup, Jeffy. Hope you start feeling better soon.

(((((mishka)))))

I've been drinking water and tea like crazy, with an Airborne every few hours. The headache is quite a bit better, I think getting hydrated is helping. The other night I was thirsty, not sleeping, and couldn't make myself get up to get a drink. I had a bit of a sore throat, it's also mostly better. The biggest problem now is congestion. I wish I had some real sudafed, rather than the fake stuff.

Charlotte will sleep between my knees, makes it a challenge to move at all!

Hope you are feeling better. Have you tried Mucinex? It works wonders on congestion.

I'm not well, but I am better. I am at work, though I am certainly not 100%. I slept reasonably well, and my head is less stuffed up, and the headache is gone. Sore throat is pretty mild, more scratchy than sore. So, I think I am on the way back to good health.

I think I will pick up some Mucinex, it's been recommended a couple times. I need to have something in the medicine cabinet, because once I need it, I'm not going out to get it!
