and totally understandable about taking time off. that is necessary. sometimes being on here can bring you down a bit because there are so many struggling, so you do exactly what you need to do to stay positive and loving life so you can direct your H the way he needs to go. we love you!!!

D18 is being a pain again. Between her and this sitch, feel like I'm having a panic attack.
H called this afternoon from his travels, and had some stuff to check on... We talked a little bit about D18, and he's enlisting the help of a local bar owner friend. D18 goes to a dance bar/club in town. It is a bar, and she gets in because she has a fake id. We know of at least 10 of her friends that go there (yes, folks, these are Christian school educated kids) every weekend, and at least once during the week. D18 claims they don't really drink there because it's too expensive. They drink at home first (w/a DD - God, I hope.) Either way, they're there illegally, and probably good and intoxicated.
Now... before we all get crazy... this is nothing different that I did in college. Our sorority had the hookups for fake ids, we went to the bars on weekends, non-stop....'
BUT, we were in a college town, and the bars were full of college kids, and the rules are just different. I'm sorry.
So, H is working w/our friend to provide a pic of D18, and a warning to not allow her in, and to pull the ID.
We're not dumb. She will just find other ways to have "fun", but, can certainly make it harder.

I can tell I'm a little on edge. I went to this superb gift item/floral store this am, early, to get a gift for my friend. I picked out some FAB!!! gloves and a scarf, brought them to the counter, and asked the lady to start wrapping them while I continued to shop (had thought about getting H something from in there, as well). The lady tells me they can't wrap items that were on sale. I tell her that I need them wrapped as I'm not handy like that. Just add on a charge. I really don't care. She tells me she still can't do it, and hands me the stuff. I shove it back at her and tell her that is so f'ing stupid. People come in here for LAST MINUTE GIFTS. What do you mean you can't WRAP THEM? GOD!!!! Isn't that nice?
Lunch w/the girlfriends for one of their birthdays... Guess I have to attempt to shop again before I go...
