Ok, I might have missed something, but why did you have to drive them to his place? He should have just picked them up at your house. And when he picks them up, you should have shown him that you were on your way out to someplace.
You're enabling his behavior. You even mention that he took YOUR stuff. That's being an ass. You should have restricted all that. The thing is to not make his life a paradise as he steps all over yours.
I drove the kids to his house because he either rides a motorcycle or drives a small sports car. He currently has no way to transport the kids around. I wanted them to be able to spend the day at their Dad's house, so I dropped them off.
Yes, he took some of my stuff, but it was all stupid stuff. That's why we laughed about it. He didn't take anything that I would care to have back.
Truthfully, I may be enabling him, but I don't feel like he is stepping all over my life. He did what he needed to do, and I actually think it was a good thing. I'm starting to understand how we got in this crisis.
