Not too bad. The same part that goes out on the freezer is going out yet again. I am so tired of messing with it. I think the next Federal holiday that I am off, I will have the fix it guy come and check it out. This was so much easier to do with 2 of us but then we probably wouldn't have paid for someone to check it out.
Is it Friday yet?

Friday? NO...but its ALWAYS 5 o'clock somewhere. Sounds like you need to make an extra batch that have a couple of shots of (ok, what alcohol would be potent, but not ruin the taste of cookies?) butterscotch snaaps (better use 1/2 the bottle) for emergencies. Couple shots of Jager and you can play Scarlett about the freezer.
"Fiddle Dee Dee. Aaaahhhll think about that tomorrah!"
Not effective as a long term strategy, but it'll get you through to at least Thursday.

No, I didn't spike the cookies. I did replace the part in the freezer and then my stomach started to really bother me. I think all that drainage of the sinuses, blech.
I am at work today, telling myself mind over queasy stomach. I can do this. I will do this. Brought a supply of crackers to help. Maybe I should have spiked the cookies....hmmm.

I have had to learn to do all kinds of handy stuff during my marriage because my H didn't care to learn how. I always have figured it is worth a good old college try. I just don't have a lot of upper body strength for some of this stuff. lol
Hopefully that isn't intimadating to guys. I just know things needed to get done and somebody had to fix whatever had broke. I am trying to pass this on a bit to the kids. S17 isn't so interested but S14 is just hopping right in there. The girls, not so much but they will get there.
They all like to make cookies though so that is a plus!

Making cookies is a very useful skill! Especially for a guy, they'll have no trouble finding GFs!
I'm too cheap to pay for someone else to do most things (with three cavets, transmissions, wiring (not a fan of things that can shock my socks off lol), and gas) and my parents always did a lot of repairs themselves.

I think the first thing electrical that I fixed was the doorbell. The guy at the hardware store kept saying be careful to not touch these two wires but at the very last he said it was so little electricity it wouldn't hurt! I didn't care, kept telling myself not to touch those wires. lol
I put together bunk beds for the boys and an entertainment center while I was pregnant with D11. The fact that he let me do those all by myself should have really had my warning bells going off! I was in my 3rd trimester and those were both big projects. Oh well that is all in the past now.
S14 wants me to strip the wallpaper off in the living room and paint. It is the last room that I need to conquer as far as wallpaper but I really hate to paint. Maybe I could let S14 solo???
