Hi Kat... so how was the eclipse/mercury direct for you? My Dad rang last night from a restaurant to say my Mum was weepy at the table! She never gets weepy. Two woman at work said they felt emotional and strange and like they just wanted to get under their duvet. A MF said he felt odd all day... just wondered if you had noticed anything, tho it was an eclipse in Capricorn, so depends where that falls for you...

I know the eclipse was today but yesterday I felt a bit off. I just couldn't really focus and was maybe even a bit dizzy. Anyway, I was thinking about Haiti and what a terrible mess it was there. I wanted to help but the life of me couldn't think of who to donate through.(I told you I was sick!) So I shoot off a quick e-mail to flirtguy since he is a newspaper publisher.
He replies right away giving me the names of a couple big organizations. Later in the day he sends me an e-mail with a link to one of their sites for easy donations. So yes my communications were off, but I got some help.
Then today if you didn't see, my computer at home has a virus. I think I am banning kids from the computer! Don't things gets better in a couple of days??? lol

Ooh, hi Corey!!! Miss you!!! Kat, glad you're feeling better!!! At my church, they were saying American Red Cross is supposed to be a good one to donate to also. I was thinking I would. I haven't been able to donate to anyone in a long time--so now gotta give back. Happy MLK day!
I gave to Red Cross through my cell phone. Took 1 minute. You text the word "Haiti" to 90999 and it automatically donates $10 through your cell bill.
I also gave when I checked out at the grocery store. I looked at my total savings with my coupons Saturday and donated that amount through them, also to Red Cross.
So kat, what else have you been up to this weekend? Has the weather improved around you?

I did red cross through their website. It took forever to get through so I suppose that means they are getting a lot of help. I know I want to be doing more but right now they are having a hard enough time getting items to the people.
But everyone helping just a bit, I think we can begin to see a difference. Maybe that is more where I should be focusing. Helping other people. I am in such limbo in where I should go with my life. I'll get there eventually.
Off to buy stuff for cookies for the kids.
