Yesterday I had a great time in NYC with a college friend. We'd met while in our junior year abroad in Italy and saw each other regularly until having children made visiting seemingly impossible. We hope to meet up once a month. It was great fun traipsing (and retracing) our steps. I'm also amazed at how easy it is to reconnect with friends from our youth. It's simple, uncomplicated and open.
