Because, "He says this all the time. Nothing changes."
Because you still have a few things to work out & you will continue to have the crust peeled off the scab occassionally when you do interact.
He holds you to a different standard because he knows he can, and takes advantage of your good nature.
After reading so many of your posts, I see that you are amazingly strong & seem to be able to handle just about everything in a positive, intelligent, thoughtful way. This is about the last thing he 'has' on you & he's prolly not ready to let it go yet.
