This is where you're wrong. GAL means doing things for YOU. It's not to get your W to notice. You do it to enrich yourself. If she notices, then that's a plus. If she doesn't, who cares.

Make this time about you. Not her. And I'm talking about HEALTHY things to do, like getting in better shape, learning something new, etc. If you are a couch potato, then get off your butt and walk around the block. These don't have to be big changes, just little ones here and there.
