Hey Nik whats up? Been around but has been a very busy week. Not only that but apparently the boss people do not like their employees on the internet so much during work hours (not that I am, but I have curbed it to just lunch hours).

Whats going on?

Yeah I hear ya about the work thing. Had the same problem, got blocked from a few sites.

Saw that you are a paralegal. I'm in school right now...working towards that. I'm actually finishing up my cover letter to send to a law office. Nervous about it.......what do you think of the field?

Man, I'm scared to take the leap. Guess I have to send my resume in and see what happens. I'm so comfortable at my job now and have lots of great benefits but I know that I don't want to be here for the rest of my life. Have to leave at some point. Just not sure if I should stay here through the rest of my school to take advantage of the flexibility.

I once had a professor who said whenever you have a major change in life, you should experience STD.

Scared to Death.

He said it equates change. If we stay in the current place because we are comfortable, but it does not allow for growth, then we stagnate. Taking that leap is supposed to be exciting, and challenging, and a little bit fearful.

It cannot hurt to get your feet wet and start sending the resume out. Life is full of risks, but you know what? Sometimes the good guys finish first...and you will never know unless you try.
