As for the books, order online through Amazon and just have them shipped to your APO address. My XH did it all the time (he must've spent hundreds on books, CDs, and DVDs lol - when you're stuck on a tiny FOB with just a dinky gym, having a steady stream of entertainment helps keep you sane I guess).
