I am back to work. I am not 100% but my boss was working on out of town appointments and I thought at least I won't give this to anyone and I can be productive.

I am reading a new book for book club and yep, it deals with adultry. It is historical fiction and it takes place back at the turn of the century. Huge scandal then, even written up in the papers since it involved a famous person. Before all of this happened, I wouldn't have been thrilled about the adultry but knew it was fairly common. Now it feels like a personal affront even though I know it isn't. I realize all of this pain and in the end I know there is a tragedy. I have to ask if that is karma showing her hand and then I am a bit horrified that I would even think that.

I suppose each day is just getting one step further away from the hurt and eventually it will feel as if it was just a pesky bug bite. Or so I hope.

Maybe it is good to be reading this and facing it. Looking at the other side and the hunt for justification to make it all "right" in their minds. Maybe this is just me babbling from my cold.

Kat, sorry to hear you're not feeling well. So I guess you don't like the book much?

I am still a little off. Feel a bit dizzy. Anyway, the book isn't bad but the background for the relationship is hard to take. The book is "Loving Frank". It does have a very tragic ending and as I said it is based on a true story. I think she just took literary license with the conversations, thoughts and such.

I really enjoy history, so seeing how people in another time period dealt with it is interesting.

I am going to lay down now.

Oh, I heard about that book. It's about Frank Lloyd Wright's lover, right? A friend of mine read that and said it was wonderful and I should read it....can't bring myself to do it. I'm already fuming about a triangle going on in my soap opera with one of the 'supercouples' and I'm about to start fast forwarding through all of their scenes because I find myself yelling at the TV.

Hey as I start to bounce back, my computer catches a virus! I will get to deal with that more tonight. being sick, I haven't been able to watch with the kids are saying yes and no to on the screen. yikes!!

Well if it isn't one thing it is another and it certainly lets me know that I am still alive.
