Glad you son is OK Kat!! My first "accident" was terrifying, I sill rememeber it clearly. I had no license yet and I could have gotten into big trouble! Thank God I hit a friend of mine - LOL hugs K
My first one was scary too. It was in a parking lot and this truck and my little Toyota Corolla rear ended each other. The truck didn't have a scratch but my car did. I was so scared calling my parents but they were so nice and telling me about their first accidents.
As a side note here, I probably got pregnant with S17 because of a bad accident I had again in my Toyota. I had a layover in KC for Christmas and came home to surprise everyone. The next morning I had to leave extra early to get back to get ready to baord passengers. I noticed what I thought was a large dog on the side of the road. As I got closer, I saw it was a fawn. Just as I am changing lanes so I won't scare it more than it was, it's mother jumps over the concrete barriers we have on the interstate, right in front of my car. If I had hit her right then, well I would have possibly been killed but as it was, I hit her hind quarter with my passanger side. Ended up going into the concrete barriers myself and flip my car.
I wasn't able to fly for about a month since I had sprained my neck and first two vertebrae. The airline was actually pretty good about it too. Well while I was home, I got that all telling pain and I attacked my H the first chance we got. The next fall S17 was born.

I had to call our local university today to figure out where to mail forms for S17. while I was talking to the lady there, it came up that she just went through a divorce. So naturally chatted and let her know that it does get better. I passed on the website info and told her it might just help her to read along for a bit.
So sad that it is just becoming all too common. Her situation didn't involve another person though so that makes it easier I imagine.
I was crushed with the KU loss yesterday, but would much rather have it happen now than later. Maybe it will help us firm up some areas that we need to work on. Hope so.
Went and saw "Leap Year" with the kids yesterday. Pretty good but yes, a chick flick. Convinces me even more that I will be putting down roots in Ireland at some point. Hope everyone is doing as well as they can be.

That's why I'm afraid to go see it kat! I love even the idea of Ireland, so any movie I see where they are there (or Scotland for that matter) makes me long to get on a plane and disappear there for a few years.
Sorry about the KU loss. Such a great run though!

Well we still have an awesome team, just have to realize they can't throw the whole team on one guys back all of the time! Everyone has to focus. I could really get going on that so I should stop.
I went to Ireland for three days as my going away present to myself for leaving the airline. It was wet and cold but beautiful. It was also October so what was I expecting?? I also had a very romantic encounter with an Irish man the night before Fergie and Andrew got married and I am also Irish, so it just makes sense.
