Hey OP, I'm feeling for you with the parent situation. I had to take care of moving my dad from Buffalo to Colorado several years ago because his second wife didn't want to take care of him(his health was quickly declining)..Sadly, H and I moved him here to a higher altitude knowing it would possibly worsen his lung issues, which it did and he passed away a few months later. But he was with family that loved and wanted him: me, his brother and grandchildren...
Taking care of our parents is one tough nut and it can be overwhelming at times. If you haven't talked to mom and dad about their wishes, living wills, POA..I strongly urge you to-it helps things all around!
