Personal growth is good for us, no matter what. I know that with my IC, as well as conversations with my H, I am facing some of my own issues and some of my part in where our M was at that made us vulnerable to what happened.... BUT... that none of that ever justifies H's choice to have an A. He could have responded to those things in many different ways. He has to own that. In the meantime, though, me working on these issues for myself is good for ME!
I had a good day today. I am really at peace with my decision that I have tried and should stop trying. Live and let live. All that good stuff. YadaYadaYada. I wish I could bottle how I feel today. I truly, truly do. I was listening to the Christian radio station and singing How Great is Our God and I just felt great. Listen to me. This time last year Christian radio was never allowed on in my car. I would be blasting the loudest contemporary/hiphop/jazz/R&B/rock/alternative. Anything but. How is that for a modern day miracle?
Well, yesterday a cute guy asked me out. And he was wearing a wedding ring!!! Yeeechhhh. I said...thanks, but no thanks buddy. I am married as well and I am not even thinking about opening that door. His rationale was what do your H and my W have to do with it? Little did he know that I am the wrong one to ask that. What do they have to do with it? Let me count the ways, buddy...My friend admitted that he was very cute. Only thing she didn't put it so delicately
Oh well, its the PRE-WEEKEND and that always puts me in a good mood.

I am so happy that it is Friday. Today was a really busy day at work so I am just going to veg out tonight and watch some good movies or something. Tomorrow I will go to the salon to get pretty. Shoe shopping afterwards is always a possibility.
I'll spend sometime this weekend doing my "homework" from IC. We are addressing how to deal with anger. Me? I am the very essence of peace and calm.
Tonight it is my turn to host the monthly "cupcakes and wine" gathering with all my girlfriends. We have this little party on the first Friday of every month. I am making red velvet cupcakes as we speak as nobody can get here until 11pm due to work schedules. If you lived close by I would have you come over!
I shopped today. The sales were AMAZING! I got 2 sweaters, 3 tops and a pair of jeans for 35.00! And I found Henri Bendel candles on sale for 13.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am going to LA for my "spring break" from school. My cousin lives in Long Beach and some of my very best friends live in LA (Studio City, Los Feliz and Hermosa Beach). Maybe we can meet for wine and cupcakes
That's why we need the DB Convention. We can all hang out in the hotel room eating cupcakes. Then we can go shopping!!! What will the men at the convention do??
