Last night's game was not the sort of game that is fun for me to watch. My heart was thumping like crazy. All this energy was building in my body and I was yelling at the TV like a mad woman. I never take the other team for granted, don't sit there and quote stuff like he always makes this shot or just say without a doubt we are going to win. I try to keep the faith even when it looks dire and yes even on occasion have a hardtime sleeping if we lose. Sometimes you may even catching me shedding a few tears because I feel so bad for my team.
I know they don't know me from Adam. My dad always says it is great that you care so much about something but hon, they don't care a bit about you. I diasgree a bit because I have seen these kids when they come home after a loss and they are almost shocked that there are fans to greet them and tell them we are proud of them and we will get them next time.
Maybe this is a bit about the big picture in life. We need each other to make it a fun run and we need each other when things fall through. We have to keep the faith when things look grim and if we should happen to lose this round, we know what to work on to make it better next time. It is a good game in the end.
