S17 had his first fender bender today. From the way he drew things out for me it doesn't appear to be his fault. It took place in the school parking lot so the police wouldn't come. He is fine, just shaken up. I felt terrible for him. thank goodness his car is a 27 year old mini-tank! No real damage, just one of the trim pieces popped out. The other car wasn't so lucky. His front fender is dented.

Anyway, both kids are fine which is the important thing. S17 didn't even want to call his Dad. He said he would tell him when he got back home. Ex had already come to pick up D11 for her flute lesson and inquired where S17 was. S14 told him about the accident and all he asked about was if the car was okay!! WTH?? This is not the kind of person I married. He has become so self-absorbed that he couldn't even both to call his son and see how he was. I am better off and sadly so are my kids.
