hi sandi and friends, sorry but i took a few days to do a lot of nothing.New years eve i saw my brother and friends, then got myself a pizza and chocolate babka and watched the food network. My wife went to south america for two weeks to help her sick aunt and cousin with health matters and domestic chores. I think there 's more to it than just that but proving it is another thing. She did call me twice in the last 4 days and at the end of our convos did say "i love you". maybe i'm hanging on to crumbs, but it feels good to hear it. I did NOT call her on New years eve. She Did call me the next day to wish me happy new year.I told her i was Out with some friends and left it at that. I made no mention of missing her or being interested in her activities. Today is the first time in 6 days that i actually called her but she was out so i left a message in my poor spanish with the aunt. She returns in a week and i've no idea what her mood/demeanor will be. I think i need to have a plan in place when she returns. Perhaps several possible scenarios could occur be considered. She could possibly return with open arms missing me. another is possibly announcing leaving. I don't know, but i think i Do understand that i should be prepared and active, not Re active. comments and advice is much appreciated!!
